The bug that has caused the Apple Music app to install itself into the iOS dock when downloaded from the App Store has been fixed in the second beta of iOS 15.6.
The bug, which appeared last month would install the Apple Music app straight into the Dock without user permission, sometimes even replacing other first and third-party apps that were located there.
The bug affected devices running iOS 15.4.1, as well as iOS 15.5.
However, a tweet from Aaron Zollo indicates that Apple appears to have fixed the bug in iOS 15.6 Beta 2, indicating that the issue will be resolved for users when iOS 15.6 is officially released.
