Apple on Wednesday released tvOS 15.5.1, a minor update to the latest tvOS operating system that launched in September 2021. tvOS 15.5.1 comes less than two weeks after the launch of tvOS 15.5.
tvOS 15.4 is compatible with the Apple TV 4K (1st and 2nd generation ) and the Apple TV HD.
The tvOS 15.4 update is free and can be installed via the Settings app on the Apple TV by going to “System” -> “Software Update.” If you have automatic software updates turned on your Apple TV will be upgraded to tvOS 15.4 automatically.

This update addresses an issue where music could stop playing after a short time.
Apple does not provide detailed release notes for its tvOS updates, but the company does offer some tvOS information through the tvOS support document.
