Apple on Wednesday seeded the initial beta release of macOS Monterey 12.5 to developers for testing. The initial beta comes two days after the release of macOS Monterey 12.4.
The developer build of macOS Monterey 12.3 can be downloaded by developers through the Apple Developer Center and once the correct profile is installed, succeeding betas will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences.
There’s no word yet on what new features or changes might be included in macOS Monterey 12.5, but if we find anything new, we’ll update you in this space.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Mac, instead only installing betas on devices set aside for testing purposes.
