Apple has begun sending email notifications to a small number of developers notifying them if they’ve been selected to attend a special WWDC 2022 viewing event to take place at Apple Park on Monday, June 6.
Apple started taking applications for the special viewing event on Monday. The company said that developers would be notified if they were selected by 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time tonight. Those developers that receive the emails will be required to RSVP by May 18 at 6:00 p.m. to confirm their attendance.

The all-day experience at Apple Park will also see developers invited to explore the new dedicated Developer Center at Apple Park. Apple last year announced that it was building a Developer Center on the Apple Park campus, though it did not provide many details about the new center.
While the Apple Park event is free, those developers picked for the event will need to travel to Cupertino, California.
WWDC 2022 is set to kick off at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Monday, June 6, with the online WWDC keynote address.
