Apple has updated its investor relations page to announce that it will be sharing its fiscal second-quarter 2022 earnings on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific / 5:00 p.m. Eastern.
The earnings report and the subsequent earnings call will provide us with insight into the period between late December and March, which is typically one of the slower quarters for Apple as it comes on the heels of the holiday quarter.
Apple did not provide guidance for the second quarter of 2022 during its first-quarter 2022 financial earnings report due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which has had an effect on Apple’s product launch timelines and sales.
The Cupertino company last quarter reported a revenue record of $123.95 billion, up 11% year over year. The company reported a profit of $34.6 billion and earnings per share of $2.10.
