Three new unreleased Mac models have been included in Apple’s latest filing in the Eurasian Economic Database. The filing takes place just ahead of an expected spring event that is expected to take place on March 8.
The filing, first reported by Consomac, shows three new Mac models with model numbers A2615, A2686, and A2681. All are listed as running macOS Monterey, but no other details about the three new computers are included in the filing.
The Mac designated as A2681 is a MacBook model, says the publication. However, no specific clarification was provided for the A2615 and A2686 models, which means they are likely desktop computers.
Apple is required by law to file new products in the Eurasian Economic Database, and typically does so leading up to a new product launch. Last month a filing exposed what appears to be a revamped iPhone SE, as well as an updated iPad Air model.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has suggested that Apple’s expected spring event will include the unveiling of at least one new Mac. Apple is rumored to be working a larger Apple Silicon-powered iMac to replace its current Intel-based 27-iMac model. A new Mac mini and a redesigned MacBook Air are also said to be in development.
