This year’s “iPhone 14 Pro” will feature 8GB of RAM, which would be the most memory ever in an iPhone, says a leaker out of Asia.
The Korean blog Naver sports a post from an account member called “yeux1122” that cites supply chain sources and claims the iPhone 14 Pro will contain 8GB of RAM. The post claims that the iPhone 14 Pro’s memory size has now been confirmed. The post claims the schedule for mass production appears to be accelerating.
A report in December from Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu late last year similarly claimed the iPhone 14 Pro models will be equipped with 8GB of RAM, up 2GB, which is a significant increase from the 6GB of RAM found in iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro models, which is currently the most memory ever offered in an iPhone.
If the iPhone 14 Pro does boast 8GB of RAM, it will bring it even with Samsung’s latest Galaxy S22 models, helping it outperform the Galaxy S22 even more than it already does. Galaxy devices have had 8GB of memory since the S10 launched in 2019.
