Apple today began sharing its Apple Music “Replay 2022” playlist. As is traditional (if you can call two years a “tradition”), the playlist ranks the music a user has streamed since the year began, ranking the first 100 tracks in the list.
The “Replay 2022” list will update each week and will contain the latest order of your most-listened-to tracks. At the end of 2022, the playlist will provide an overall look at your music listening habits for the entire year.
The playlist can be found by scrolling to the bottom of the Listen Now tab in Apple Music on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. A more detailed version of the feature will be available on Apple Music for the web, which will include the most streamed artists and albums, and statistics for detailed play counts and hours listened.
Apple began making the list available to listeners back in February 2020, providing the service’s only offering in terms of a yearly statistical wrap-up.
Apple Music Replay is available year-round, but once you get far enough into the year, it will begin to settle into a list that won’t change much. Apple doesn’t yet offer a year-end recap of your listening list that can be posted to social media platforms.
