As part of Apple’s promotion about its new murder mystery comedy, “The Afterparty,” it is making the series first episode free on YouTube and is also conducting a live Twitter streaming.
“The Afterparty” centers on a murder mystery at a high school reunion. Each of the eight episodes features a retelling of the same night told through a different character’s perspective, each with its own unique visual style and film genre to match the teller’s personality. The series is done in a “Rashomon” style, where every episode tells the same story from a different character’s perspective – and each is also in a different genre.
Apple TV+ is promoting the series by making the first episode available for free on YouTube and is also hosting a live watch party on Twitter.
We're streaming the first episode of The Afterparty live, right here on Twitter.
Tune in tonight at 5pm PT for the premiere episode and live watch party with the cast and creators of #TheAfterparty, a new Apple TV+ original series.https://t.co/NvIWwt8di4
