Apple’s upcoming 27-inch iMac lineup will offer a sleeker exterior design and will be available in numerous colors, just like its 24-inch predecessor, says a new report from DigiTimes
Previous reports have indicated that the 27-inch iMacs will be similar in design to the 24-inch iMac, but with black screen bezels and will sport a darker color theme than the smaller iMac to better differentiate the new larger iMac as a more professional iMac option.
However, this latest report claims Apple will offer the 27-inch iMac in numerous colors, although whether that means that the 27-inch iMac will have the same color scheme as the 24-inch iMac remains to be seen.
Twitter leaker @dylandkt in November claimed that the new 27-inch iMac will feature a similar design as the 24-inch iMac that launched earlier this year but with a darker color scheme.
Apple’s “iMac Pro,” which will be powered by Apple Silicon is expected to launch in spring 2022 and will replace the current Intel-based 27-inch iMac. Today’s DigiTimes report also claimed the new Mac will not boast a mini-LED display, but will instead continue to use an LCD panel.
