Apple will be supporting relief efforts, following deadly tornadoes and other severe weather across parts of central and southern United States says a tweet by Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Cook did not reveal the exact amount that Apple will be donating to the relief efforts. However, the Cupertino firm routinely contributes to relief efforts following natural disasters.
At least 30 tornadoes were reported between late Friday and early Saturday across Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, and Tennessee. More than 80 people are feared dead, including at least 70 in Kentucky, according to state and local officials, Widespread property damage happened throughout the storm areas, says CNN.
