Nintendo has announced that it will be pulling its “Dr. Mario World” iOS game from the App Store later this year. The company has already cut off in-app purchases.
The game was launched just a bit over two years ago. The Tetris-inspired game originally debuted many years ago on the 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System game console. As of Monday, November 1, 2021, the game will cease to be available — and existing users will no longer be able to play.
“We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has played the game,” said Nintendo in its statement.
