Apple may not limit its mini-LED display to just the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro, but may also make the new display technology available on its smaller 11-inch model, says well-connected Apple industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
In an investor note obtained and shared by MacRumors, Kuo said that in addition to a new MacBook Air boasting a mini-LED display next year, Apple also has plans to bring the new display technology to both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
This past April, Apple began the use of mini-LED displays in the high-end 12.9-inch iPad Pro, but the updated 11-inch iPad Pro did not receive the display technology update.
Since both iPad Pro models were updated this year, we’ll likely see any future updates to the lineup sometime in 2022.
