Fifth Betas of iOS 14.7 & iPadOS 14.7 Seeded to Developers and Public Beta Testers

Apple has seeded the fifth betas of iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7 to developers for testing. The fifth beta release comes two weeks after the fourth betas.

Beta builds of iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7 are available to developers through the Apple Developer Center or over the air on the devices with the proper configuration installed.

Public builds of the new operating systems can be downloaded via the Apple Beta Software Program website by users signed up to take part in the testing program. If you’re interested in trying out the betas of the upcoming operating systems you can sign up for the program by clicking the same link.

Apple in iOS 14.7 will expand the Air Quality Index feature, adding more countries, including the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, and Canada.

When paired with HomePod 14.7 software, iOS 14.7 will allow the Home app to set multiple timers on a ‌HomePod‌ or a HomePod mini.

At the time of this article, we don’t know for sure what else is new in the software updates, but we’ll post an update in this post if we hear anything.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver iPhone or iPad. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
