Apple today seeded the first public betas of iOS 14.7, iPadOS 14.7, and macOS Big Sur 11.5 to public beta testers. The seeding comes one day after the first betas were seeded to developers.
Public builds of iOS 14.7, iPadOS 14.7 can be downloaded via the Apple Beta Software Program website by users signed up to take part in the testing program. If you’re interested in trying out the betas of the upcoming operating systems you can sign up for the program by clicking the same link.
Registered Public Beta Testers can download and install the macOS Big Sur 11.5 beta through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences after installing the proper profile.
Mac users who want to be a part of Apple’s beta testing program can sign up to participate on the Apple Beta Software Program website, which gives users access to iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS betas
At the time of this article, we don’t know for sure what’s new in the software updates, but we’ll post an update in this post if we hear anything.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver iPhone, iPad, or Mac, instead only install betas on devices set aside for testing purposes.
