As had been expected, Apple Pay has officially launched in Israel. Previous reports had indicated that a launch would happen in the country sometime this year.
Israeli news outlet The Verifier reports the launch means that customers of all banks and credit card companies in Israel will now be able to add the credit card or direct debit card to the service on their iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac computer.
Once Apple Pay arrives in their country, users can add their credit or debit card to the service by doing the following:
First introduced in 2014, Apple Pay is now available in over 50 countries or regions around the world.
