Recode’s Peter Kafka, says the publication is “pretty sure” that Apple will announce a premium paid-for podcast service at tomorrow’s media event. Rumors about such a service have been floating around for the last few months.

The new service, which is likely to be offered under the “Podcasts+” moniker would likely offer special versions of podcasts kept behind a paywall. Nobody knows at the moment whether or not the service will be a standalone service or if it will be included in the Apple One services bundle.
Apple will hold a special event tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. PDT. You’ll be able to watch online, just like the rest of us.
