Apple Seeds First Betas of iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6 to Public Beta Testers for Testing

Apple on Friday seeded the first betas of its iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6 updates to public beta testers for testing purposes. Apple seeded both betas to developers on Thursday.

Public builds of the new operating systems can be downloaded via the Apple Beta Software Program website by users signed up to take part in the testing program. If you’re interested in trying out the betas of the upcoming operating systems you can sign up for the program by clicking the same link.

Users already running the release candidate version of iOS 14.5, will see a new feature that allows them to choose to upgrade to the new 14.6 beta or stay with the 14.5 release candidate, the update is listed under a new “Also Available” section.

At this point, we don’t know exactly what’s included in the iOS and iPadOS 14.6 updates, but we’ll update this article should we find anything new.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver iPhone or iPad, instead only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
