Apple today released macOS Big Sur 11.2.3, the fifth update to its macOS Big Sur operating system. The release comes two weeks following the release of macOS Big Sur 11.2.2.
Apple says the macOS Big Sur 11.2.3 update offers important security updates and should be installed by all users. An Apple support document provides additional information and says the software addresses WebKit vulnerability that could allow maliciously crafted web content to arbitrarily execute code.

The macOS Big Sur 11.2.3 update is free and can be downloaded on all compatible Macs using the Software Update section of System Preferences.
Apple also released a new version of Safari (14.0.3) for macOS Catalina and macOS Mojave users.
