Immediately on the heels of Apple’s officially discontinuing the iMac Pro, Apple has also stopped offering the 512GB and 1TB SSD configurations of its 4k 21.5-inch iMac.
Both options became unavailable for purchase last month, although, at that time, no one was certain whether it was a temporary component supply issue or if the two options would be permanently dropped.
Both of the two affected SSD options have been removed from the iMac’s configuration page, leaving only a 256GB SSD and a 1TB Fusion Drive as the only available configuration options.
Apple is widely believed to be readying a launch of an all-new iMac later this year. The new iMacs will be powered by Apple Silicon.
