Score a Five-Month Apple Music Trial by Using Shazam on Dolly Parton’s ‘5 to 9’ Super Bowl Ad

A new promotion offers up to five free months of Apple Music to new users, and all you have to do is use Shazam to identify Dolly Parton’s new “5 to 9” Super Bowl ad. Yes, we know the Super Bowl was played last night, but you can still view the commercial.

Country star Dolly Parton created and recorded a version of her hit “9 To 5” for a new Squarespace ad. The song, entitled “5 to 9,” is an updated version about people starting up small businesses and side-hustles, and is available for listening on Apple Music.

The video is available for viewing below:

A tweet from Parton on Sunday teased a “special surprise” available to those who used Shazam to identify the song. Parton’s tweet also mentioned that new Apple Music subscribers could also get up to five months of free service.

If you missed the Super Bowl commercial, or simply don’t want to have to deal with the video, there is also a link to see the same offer, openable on iOS devices. The page includes a link that opens Shazam, which displays a short clip of Parton discussing the reworking of her classic song.

The promotion is available in 45 countries around the world and will expire on March 31, 2021. The offer must be claimed on an iOS device that has Shazam installed.
