Apple has plans to finally release its much-anticipated AirTags item tracker tags, a new Augmented Reality device, new AirPods, and other new products in 2021, says well-connected industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
In a new research note shared by MacRumors, Kuo says Apple will release their AirTags tracking tags, which will help users keep track of their personal belongings – such as wallets, keys, briefcases, etc. – and would send a notification to a user’s Apple device when they are separated from a tagged item.
While Apple is reportedly working on multiple augmented reality devices, including an augmented reality headset and glasses, Kuo did not specify which item would hit shelves this year.
Kuo also noted that Apple has plans to release new AirPods, its first devices sporting Mini-LED displays, and more new Apple Silicon-powered Macs, all of which are widely expected.
