There’s good news for iOS users who have wanted to hear Siri roar, as iOS 14.3 has added a feature that allows the personal assistant to replicate all types of sounds, including animal sounds, alarms, musical instruments, and more.
CNBC reports that after updating your device to iOS 14.3, you can ask Siri questions like:
Siri will then play the sound of the requested animal or object.
Hundred of different sounds are available, and on your iPhone and iPad, Siri will also display a photo of the animal or other subject, along with a Wikipedia link for more information.
This feature is apparently still rolling out to users. Despite hearing a newscaster demonstrate the feature successfully, we were unable to get it to work properly on our iOS 14.3 devices. So if it’s not working for you after the iOS 14.3 update, be patient. At least you still have the fart noise skill on your Alexa devices.
