Apple last month debuted its MagSafe Duo Charger, which folds together neatly so users can easily take it with them wherever they go. While the accessory is still listed as “Coming Soon” on the Apple online store, a new YouTube video gives us a hands-on look at the charger.
The video shows how the new accessory can be used to charge an Apple Watch and an iPhone 12 simultaneously. The video shows how the Apple Watch charging puck can be angled to enable Nightstand mode on the Apple Watch while it is charging.
The MagSafe Duo Charger charges compatible iPhones, Apple Watches, the Wireless Charging Case for AirPods, and other Qi-certified devices. Users simply place their devices on the charger and charging begins on contact.
The charger will be priced at $129 once it is available, and ships with a USB-C to Lightning cable. The recommended 20W power adapter is sold separately for $19. No firm release date has yet been announced for the MagSafe Duo Charger.
