It’s been a morning of rumors, as anticipation begins to build over what we might see at Apple’s online event, set for Tuesday, October 13. Well-known leaker Jon Prosse has added fuel to the rumor bonfire, claiming that Apple’s rumored “AirPods Studio” premium headphones will not debut at next week’s event.

Prosser says that three separate sources have told him that “AirPods Studio will NOT be in the event.” Prosser earlier this week claimed the new headphones won’t reach mass production until October 20, so this jibes with his earlier comments.
Prosser says Apple could unveil the new headphones via a press release at the end of the month. It should also be noted that Apple stopped selling third-party audio accessories, such as headphones and speakers, in late September. Apple traditionally makes a move like that when they have their own related products in the pipeline, which could be the AirPods Studio and HomePod “mini” which are expected to soon debut.
Prosser also claims the render images that he shared last month (seen above) are of a $599 “luxury variant,” and that a “sport-like variant” will be made of cheaper materials and will go for $350.
Prosser also tweeted that he is being told that Apple has “pushed back the announcement and launch of Apple’s AirTags to March 2021.”
So, about AirTags.
This one hurts my heart…

“AirTags” is said to be Apple’s Tile-like Bluetooth tracking devices, designed to be attached to items like keys and wallets, which can then be tracked in the Find My app on a user’s iPhone.
As usual, reports like these are to be taken with a grain of your favorite salt-free seasoning. Nothing is set in stone until Tuesday when Apple executives take the virtual stage to unveil their new products.
