Yes, the iPhone 12 hasn’t been released yet but sure, why not check out an iPhone 13 rumor? According to the leaker known as “Ice Universe,” the as yet manufactured handset may sport a smaller notch in its display. The notch houses the device’s front-facing TrueDepth camera system.

The rumor asserts that the iPhone 13 lineup will still retain the notch, but that it may be slightly smaller. The leaker also tweeted a brought sketch to illustrate the alleged change, which apparently is in the form of a more shallow notch, not a less wide one.

While numerous rumors had indicated that the notch on the iPhone 12 lineup would see a reduction in the size of the front screen notch, it looks as is any reduction in the notch will be destined for a future iPhone handset. However, some rumors have also indicated that the smallest iPhone 12, which is expected to be the 5.4-inch “mini,” may boast a narrower notch, due to its smaller screen size.
