Now that Apple has terminated Epic Games’ developer account, the other shoe is dropping, with Apple ending access to the “Sign in with Apple” option for Epic’ games as of September 11.
Epic warns gamers that use Sign in with Apple to connect to their accounts to make sure their email and password are up to date and is also offering an FAQ on how to update an account email address and password so they don’t lose access to their Epic Games accounts.
Apple will no longer allow users to sign into Epic Games accounts using “Sign In with Apple” as soon as September 11, 2020. If you used “Sign In with Apple”, please make sure your email and password are up to date. https://t.co/4XZX5g0eaf

Players that neglect to update their accounts will lose access to their accounts, but may be able to contact Epic Games to have their accounts recovered manually.
The Sign in with Apple feature for apps and game son Apple devices was introduced alongside iOS 13 last fall and allows users to login using their Apple ID, keeping the actual login info safe from the app, website, or service for improved privacy. Apple requires any app that allows users to log in using their Google or Facebook logins to also offer Sign in with Apple.
