Apple Once Again Shutters Retail Stores in California, Maryland, Ohio, and Tennessee

Apple is once again closing 11 additional U.S. retail stores due to local increases in coronavirus infections.

9to5Mac reports the stores are located in California, Maryland, Ohio, and Tennessee, and including the two stores that temporarily closed earlier this week, that brings the total Apple retail store reclosures in the country to 91.

Reshuttered California stores include those in Brea Mall (Brea), South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa), Irvine Spectrum Center (Irvine), Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo), Fashion Island (Newport Beach), El Paseo Village (Palm Desert), State Street (Santa Barbara),
and Promenade Temecula (Temecula).

Also reclosed were Apple’s Columbia store in Maryland, the Kenwood Towne Centre in Cincinnati, Ohio, and CoolSprings Galleria in Franklin, Tennessee.

The stores are closed as of today, but Apple will accept customers with existing online orders and previously scheduled Genius Support appointments at the locations through Sunday, July 12.

Earlier this week, Apple closed four of its stores in Victoria, Australia, due to the deteriorating COVID-19-related situation and the reintroduction of lockdown measures in the area.
