Facebook has begun rolling out Dark Mode support for its iOS app. The move comes just over a year after they rolled out Dark Mode support for its iOS Facebook Messenger app.
The first evidence that the social network was working on the feature surfaced back in April. Users that have received the new feature can now activate the feature under Settings & Privacy within the Menu tab. Choices include light and dark appearances, and an option to automatically change the app’s appearance based on the device’s system settings.
Facebook told Social Media Today that the feature is only available for “a small percentage of users globally,” which indicates the social network is slowly rolling out the feature across its user base.
Other Facebook apps that offer Dark Mode include Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram.
