Apple plans to offer interest-free payment plans for customers that purchase AirPods, iPad, Macs, and more by using their Apple Card. The plan will allow them to pay for their purchases over several months with no interest.
Bloomberg reports Apple will roll out the new payment feature in the coming weeks, with customers given up to 12 months to pay for their products before interest is due. Apple hopes the new offering will help bolster sales of its devices, while also encouraging Apple Card signups.
The 12-month payment plan will be available to Apple Card users that purchase iPad, Macs, iPad keyboards, the Apple Pencil, and the Pro Display SDR. Buyers of AirPods, Apple TV, and the HomePod will be given six months to pay.
Charges will be added each month to a customer’s Apple Card bill, and they will be able to make payments through the Wallet app.
A similar, but more extended, interest-free deal is available to Apple Card users that purchase an iPhone, allowing iPhone buyers to buy an iPhone with their Apple Card and pay over the course of 24 months.
Customers will get 3% Daily Cash back for their purchases, and the plans will be available alongside Apple’s educational discounts.
