Apple Camp at Home Registration Now Open

Apple announced earlier this month that its Apple Camp for kids would be presented in a virtual version this year. Registration for the online sessions has opened, and parents and kids that sign up can also download a free Activity Book.

Apple Camp is an annual summer program designed to teach kids creative and technical skills using Apple products. Sessions are typically held at Apple Store locations and are led by Apple Creative Pros. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has put a stop to the usual plans.

Kids have a unique opportunity this summer to experience Apple Camp from home. Each project takes about an hour, but Campers can create and work at their own pace. The Activity Book will be a project road map, guiding them from idea to finished masterpiece. They’ll learn what to expect from each project during a live Orientation session, and drop in to live Q&A sessions to get help. If you find that all sessions are full, we’ll be adding new sessions each week. Bookmark this page to check back and register. In the meantime, Campers can download the Activity Book and work on their own.

The 38-page Apple Camp at Home Activity Book offers three fun creative projects for the whole family. Apple says each project will take about an hour to complete, but Campers can work at their own pace.

Kids will learn how to Spark Positive Change with the Clips app, Design a Space For Happiness with Pages and an Apple Pencil, and Learn to Code a Helpful Robot using Swift Playgrounds. The Activity Book is free to download and includes coloring pages as well as completion certificates to sign.

30 and 60 minute virtual Webex sessions are available to campers from July 11-31. Kids will learn about each project during an Orientation session and find creative guidance with Q&A sessions. Each session will be hosted by an Apple Creative Pro.
