Apple on Thursday began selling certified refurbished iPhone XR models for the first time in the United States. The refurbed models are available in select capacities and colors.
All of the refurbished iPhone XR models are priced at an approximately 16% discount compared to the pricing of brand-new units, adding up to a $100 to $120 discount.
The refurbished iPhone XR models are available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage capacities, although the 256GB models are currently only available in black.
- 64GB: $499, down from current $599 price and $749 launch price
- 128GB: $539, down from current $649 price and $799 launch price
- 256GB: $629, down from former $749 clearance price and $899 launch price
All refurbished iPhone XR models are carrier unlocked and do not include a SIM, meaning they can be activated with a carrier of the buyer’s choice.
All refurbished Apple products are inspected, tested, cleaned, and repackaged in a new white box and include all manuals and accessories. In the case of the iPhone XR models, a new battery has been installed, and the outer shell has been replaced.
All refurbished iPhones come with a standard one-year Apple warranty, which can be extended with AppleCare+
