Apple is offering employees significant discounts on some of its products, including the HomePod and Beats headphones. MacGeneration and 9to5Mac shared details on the deals.
Apple is apparently attempting to clear stock of HomePods and Beats headphones by offering the items to employees through an internal deals program. The HomePods are available at a 50% discount, which reduces the price to $149.50, the Beats are also available at a reduced price.
While there has been no official announcement as to why the Cupertino company is blowing out the items to employees at a heavy discount, there have been plenty of rumors that say Apple will soon release a new lower-cost HomePod.
Apple offers deep discounts on Apple products to employees on a regular basis, as well as offering smaller discounts on all of their products purchased through the Apple employee store.
