Twitter is currently rolling out a new feature that makes it easier to chain multiple tweets together. The feature allows users to link tweets while they are composing them.
The company announced the feature Wednesday afternoon.
When composing a new tweet, you can now slide up to view their previous tweets. Once you’ve chosen an older tweet, you’ll see a “Continue thread” option. Tap that, and your tweets will be connected.
The new feature is an attempt by Twitter to make it easier for users to create topic threads and create tweetstorms. While Twitter has previously offered the ability to connect multiple tweets together while composing them, the new feature makes it more straightforward to connect a new tweet to one from the past.
The new feature is slowly rolling out, so it may be a while before you see it, but it’s on its way.
