In a research note shared with MacRumors, the analysts offered a quick look at some of the specs of the four iPhones they expect to see in 2020:
The camera specifications the duo expect jibe with that shared last month by well-connected industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Meanwhile, the 6GB of RAM prediction in the two high-end models agrees with a prediction by Barclay analysts, offered up back in November.
5G is also expected to be supported by 2020 iPhone models and is expected to be a driving factor for iPhone purchases when the new lineup hits shelves later this year. UBS surveyed 9,000 consumers in the United States, Germany, Japan, China, and the United Kingdom, and 22% of respondents saw 5G support as enough of a reason to upgrade their smartphone.
