iPad keyboard maker Brydge has announced two new accessories for the iPad. The company is preparing to take pre-orders for a new Brydge Pro+ keyboard with a built-in trackpad for the iPad Pro, as well as a trackpad designed for use with iPadOS.
The Brydge Pro+ iPad Pro keyboard is similar to those previously offered by Brydge, as it provides a keyboard for the iPad Pro, allowing iPad users to use their favorite tablet in the same manner as a MacBook. However, the new keyboard takes things a step further, as it also includes a multi-touch trackpad below the keyboard.
The trackpad is designed to take advantage of the iPadOS accessibility feature that allows users to use a mouse for pointer input on the iPad.
An adjustable backlight allows the use of the keyboard in low light conditions. Brydge says you should be able to go about three months in between charges.
The company has also unveiled an iPadOS Trackpad, which allows users to access iPadOS pointer input without the need to purchase the aforementioned keyboard/trackpad combo.
