It’s the awards nomination season, and the Apple TV+ original series “The Morning Show” continues to rack up award nominations, as the Golden Globes has handed down multiple nominations for the show.
Apple’s flagship show received nominations across multiple categories, including for Best TV Series Drama. In addition, stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon scored nominations for the Best Actress category.
The Golden Globes television awards ceremony is scheduled for January 5, 2020, which is when we’ll learn if any of the show’s nominations turn into awards.
While critics’ reactions to the show have been mixed, viewers’ reactions have been more positive. Review aggregation website Metacritic, The Morning Show has a Metascore from critics of 59 out of 100. Meanwhile, users give it an average score of 7.4 out of 10.
On Sunday, The Morning Show actor Billy Crudup was nominated for best supporting actor in the Critics Choice awards.
