Apple today announced the upcoming Apple TV+ comedy series, will “Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet” debut on Friday. February 7, 2020. The new series will be one of the first comedy series to appear on the fledgling streaming service.
The live-action comedy series, created by Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day, will be made up of nine half-hour episodes, all of which will be available on the February 7 launch date.
McElhenney and Day are known for their work on long running series “Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” Day will not star in the series, but McElhenney will. McElhenney will play the role of the company’s creative director, while other cast members will include F. Murray Abraham, Danny Pudi, Imani Hakim, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Ashly Burch, and Jessie Ennis.
Apple says the “cutting-edge comedy” is set in a video game development studio and will “explore the intricacies of the human condition through hilarious and innovative ways.”
