Apple’s new Mac Pro became available for purchase on Tuesday, and Apple has begun sharing support documents and tutorial videos for the new pro-level machine.
The two new videos walk Mac Pro owners through RAM upgrades and graphics upgrades through adding a new MPX Module. The Mac Pro is designed to be upgradable, so all of its components can be swapped out as the need presents itself.
Apple has also published a support document listing the Mac Pro parts that can be replaced and upgraded. Upgradable components include memory, PCIe cards, Apple I/O card, power supply, SSD, and the wheels. (Apple advises that if you already have a Mac Pro and want to add wheels, to contact Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.)
