Apple Seeds First Betas of iOS 13.3.1 and iPadOS 13.3.1 to Developers

Apple on Tuesday released the first betas of iOS 13.3.1 and iPadOS 13.3.1 to developers for testing. The new beta comes one week after the releases of iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3.

Beta builds are available to developers over the air on the devices with the proper configuration installed. Developers can also download the new betas from the Apple Developer Center.

We haven’t heard about what’s included in the new betas, but considering that it is a minor numbered update, it likely includes performance enhancements and fixes for bugs that were unaddressed in the iOS 13.3 update.

It likely contains a fix for the issues with Communication Limits for Screen Time, which allows kids to text someone that contacted them from an unknown number.

Once we hear more about what the update addresses, we’ll update the information in this space.
