A new video has been posted on YouTube that compares the original iPhone from 2007 to the new 2019 iPhone 11 Pro. Here’s what 12 years of iPhone evolution looks like, folks.
The video, from MKBHD (Marques Brownlee) covers such features as camera quality, the features set, the design of the device, and much more. The video offers an fun look at the evolution of the device over its lifespan.
As you might imagine, the original 3.5-inch original iPhone looks rather petite and toylike when compared to the larger 5.8-inch iPhone 11 Pro.
Arguably, the most impressive difference between the two devices is the evolution of the device’s built-in camera. A single-lens 2-megapixel camera was a feature of the 2007 OG iPhone, which while not impressive was about average back in the day. The new iPhone 11 Pro however, boasts a triple-lens camera setup that offers results that can rival some DSLRs.
As pointed out by MKBHD, the comparison between the two devices is interesting, as it provides impetus for us to imagine what we’ll be seeing from the iPhone in another 12 years. The mind boggles.
