Apple on Tuesday seeded the first beta of the upcoming tvOS 13.3 update to developers. The new beta comes just over a week after the release of tvOS 13.2 to the public.
The tvOS 13,3 beta is compatible with the fourth and fifth-generation Apple TV. The new developer beta can be downloaded to a compatible Apple TV that has the proper profile installed.
Other than the big annual releases, tvOS updates are traditionally minor in scale, containing under-the-hood performance improvements and bug fixes, rather than offering any major front-facing changes. Apple provides no information on new features or fixes in tvOS updates, but we’ll let you know if anything major is discovered in this beta.
Last week’s tvOS 13.2 release included the usual “general performance and stability updates.”
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on your daily driver Apple TV, instead only install it on a device set aside for testing purposes.
