Apple is celebrating Veterans Day in the United States with a homepage banner honoring American veterans.
The banner reads, “Here’s to the brave ones,” a spin on Apple’s classic “Here’s to the crazy ones” ad campaign. The tribute to U.S. veterans continues, saying, “We’re proud to honor America’s veterans and service members this Veterans Day and every day.”
The homepage banner also includes a link to a page explaining how veterans and current members of the military can get a 10% discount when they purchase Apple Store products.
Apple traditionally uses its homepage to celebrate holidays and other days of note. The company recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Apple is also running an Activity Challenge on Monday. The challenge, open to all Apple Watch owners in the United States, offers a 2019 Veterans Day achievement medal, which can be earned by completing a workout of 11 minutes or more.
Last week, Apple announced Apple Health Records integration to all U.S. veterans receiving healthcare from the Veterans Health Administration.
