Apple today seeded the fourth beta of the upcoming tvOS 13.2 update to developers and public beta testers. The new beta comes a week after the release of the third iOS 13.2 beta.
The tvOS 13,2 beta is compatible with the fourth and fifth-generation Apple TV. The new developer beta can be downloaded to compatible Apple TV units that have the proper profile installed.
Other than the landmark annual releases, tvOS updates are traditionally minor in scale, mostly containing under-the-hood performance improvements and bug fixes, rather than offering any earthshaking front-facing changes.
Apple doesn’t offer information on new features or fixes in its tvOS updates. Nothing of major interest was found in the first two betas, but we’ll let you know if anything major is discovered in this beta.
The release of tvOS 13 release featured a new Control Center, multi-user support, new screensavers, Apple Arcade and controller support and more.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on your daily driver Apple TV, instead only install it on a device set aside for testing purposes.
