Apple on Thursday shared a new trailer for its upcoming TV show “Dickinson,” which stars Hailee Steinfeld as poet Emily Dickinson.
The new trailer for the show – which will be one of the first shows available on Apple’s Apple TV+ streaming service when it launches this fall – includes “Afterlife,” a new song Hailee Steinfeld wrote for the show and released today.
This is the second trailer Apple has released for “Dickinson,” but the previous trailer was more of a teaser, while the new trailer is longer and give much more insight into the show. The show appears to be a bit of a “dramedy,” which is a drama that includes comedic elements.
“Dickinson” star Hailee Steinfeld is known for her roles in movies, including “True Grit,” “Pitch Perfect 2,” Pitch Perfect 3,” and others.
Also appearing in the new series will be Jane Krakowski as Dickinson’s mother, Toby Huss as Dickinson’s father, and Anna Baryshnikov as Dickinson’s sister.
“Dickinson” will be available alongside the launch of Apple TV+ on November 1. The new streaming service will be priced at $4.99 per month and it will come with a one week free trial.
