New Case Photos Show Apple Logo to be Centered on iPhone 11

It’s been established that Apple’s new high-end “iPhone 11″ lineup will boast a square triple-camera array on its back side. Now, new photos indicate another design change for the new handsets: the Apple logo has been moved, and will be centered both horizontally and vertically.

Photos posted to Slashleaks show the small design change. It should be noted that the Slashleaks photos are of clone cases made by Chinese manufacturers who make their packaging appear to be official Apple accessories.

Bloomberg is also reporting that the Apple logo will be centered on the 2019 iPhones. The relocation of the Apple logo makes sense, due to the larger camera protrusion. If the Apple logo kept its previously location, it would be quite close to the camera array. (And Apple is all about design, baby.)

Other expected tweaks to the new iPhone lineup – along with the big square camera array and the centered logo – include new color options and matte glass instead of glossy finished.

The new iPhone 11 is expected to offer bilateral wireless charging/power share features, with the ability to wirelessly charge AirPods by laying them on the back of the iPhone. The centered Apple logo could act as a targeting indicator as to the best place to lay the AirPods, indicating the spot of the Qi charging coil.

As usual, any reports like this are to be taken with a grain of your favorite low-sodium seasoning, and nothing is set in stone until Tuesday’s Apple event.
