Apple is expected to debut three new iPhones in September, and today an anonymous Twitter account that has proven to be right in the past says at least one of the new models will carry a “Pro” designation, possibly the “iPhone 11 Pro.”
The tweet comes from the anonymous account named CoinX, which has in the past accurately leaked information about Apple products. The account was on the nose last year when before anyone else, it predicted Apple’s 2018 iPhone lineup would be named the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR:
2018 iPhone naming:
iPhone Xs
iPhone Xs Max
iPhone XRSee you next week

It also predicted the removal of the headphone jack on the 2018 iPad Pro lineup, and more.
Today’s CoinX tweet poses the reveal as a rhetorical question, but considering ts previous record, this could be a golden prediction:
“Pro” for iPhone? Crazy naming schemes over the past few years.

Apple is widely expected to unveil three new iPhones next month, which should include two higher-end 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED models and one cheaper 6.1-inch LCD model. The two high-end models are expected to boast triple-lens back camera, larger batteries, and two-way wireless charging of AirPods.
This means the 2019 lineup could be made up of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, and perhaps the iPhone 11R. As always for reports such as this, nothing is set in stone, and we’ll just have to wait until Apple’s official iPhone unveiling in September. So, take the report with a grain of salt, or in the case of the red-faced gentleman in the front row, a bit of salt-free seasoning.
