Disney Confirms Disney+ to be Available on iPhone, iPad & Apple TV on Launch Day

Disney on Monday confirmed their new Disney+ streaming service will be available on Apple’s iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV on launch day (via The Verge).

The service is scheduled to launch in the United States on November 12th. The subscription will cost $6.99 per month (or $69.99 paid annually). Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand will also be able to start streaming Disney+ in November.

The company plans to offer the streaming service in most major global markets within two years of its initial launch. A $12.99-per-month trio bundle of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ is on the way.

Other supported devices include: Android, Android TV, Chromecast, web browsers, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Roku streaming players, and Roku TV. No mention of Amazon’s Fire TV platform.

Disney+ content will be integrated with the Apple TV app, allowing users to keep movies and shows organized in their Up Next list. Disney said it currently has no information to share as to integration with Apple TV Channels.
