Here Are the Device Compatibility Lists for Apple’s iOS 13, iPadOS, macOS 10.15 Catalina, and watchOS 6

Apple on Monday unveiled their upcoming operating systems for their popular iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch devices during their WWDC 2019 keynote.

Apple’s iOS 13, iPadOS, macOS 10.15 Catalina, and watchOS 6 are currently in beta testing by developers, and a public beta will be available in July. You may be curious as to where the new operating systems are compatible with your current Apple device, or whether you’ll need to spring for a new one.

Here are the compatibility lists for Apple’s latest and greatest operating systems.

iOS 13 is compatible with these iPhones:

  • iPhone XS
  • iPhone XS Max
  • iPhone XR
  • iPhone X
  • iPhone 8
  • iPhone 8 Plus
  • iPhone 7
  • iPhone 7 Plus
  • iPhone 6s
  • iPhone 6s Plus
  • iPhone SE
  • iPod touch (7th generation)

iPadOS is compatible with the following iPads:

  • 12.9-inch iPad Pro
  • 11-inch iPad Pro
  • 10.5-inch iPad Pro
  • 9.7-inch iPad Pro
  • iPad (6th generation)
  • iPad (5th generation)
  • iPad mini (5th generation)
  • iPad mini 4
  • iPad Air (3rd generation)
  • iPad Air 2

macOS 10.15 Catalina is compatible with the following Macs:

  • MacBook: 2015 and later
  • MacBook Air: 2012 and later
  • MacBook Pro: 2012 and later
  • Mac mini: 2012 and later
  • Mac: 2012 and later
  • iMac Pro: 2017 and later
  • Mac Pro – 2013 and later

watchOS 6 requires iPhone 6s or later with iOS 13 or later, and one of the following Apple Watch models:

  • Apple Watch Series 1
  • Apple Watch Series 2
  • Apple Watch Series 3
  • Apple Watch Series 4

Not all features are available on all devices.
