An Apple Pay launch for the Netherlands could be coming soon, as the service has now been promoted to a “beta” status internally at Apple. The server-side change was first spotted by WolfMeister’s Small Tools and confirmed by MacRumors.
Earlier this month, Dutch bank ING confirmed that Apple Pay is “coming soon” to the Netherlands. The bank made the announcement on its website.
The headline read: “Coming soon. Yes! ING is introducing Apple Pay.”

Apple Pay can be used anywhere contactless payments are accepted with a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch.
